Message: Are the "Crispell" and "Chrispell" families related? I live in MI, my father is Michael Chrispell and his Father, Charles Chrispell. My assumption would be that they are related just at somepoint the spelling got changed.

Message: I found your family history article rather interesting as I am researching the Blanchan ancestry. Maria's parents are my 8th grandparents and her sister, Magdalena, was my 7th great grandmother. Another sister, Catherine married Louis Dubois, which you may already be aware of. I have been researching Huguenot history a bit too, and found the memorial plaque to the first LORD's Supper they shared on 26 Dec 1660 particulary helpful.
I live in Australia but many generations of the Pendleton side of my family settled early in the American colonies.
